Accompanying my wife to the Christmas party at the Milford Haven rugby club on 15th Dec with the Friday Ad crew lunatics was great! Inebriation was well underway by the time we got there (fashionably late) and the party was just getting started, right! Hardly knew anyone but was quite happy to make idle chit chat with Will and Jamie.

Someone kept giving us free drinks tokens which was handy. So we made use of them (be rude not to). Ended up pretty pissed and at the end of the night I upset poor Lee who was mortally offended that I greeted him as ‘Leslie’ … I’d mis-heard him when he told me his name. Either he was slurring or I have wax in my ears

Props to Ann J who, with the deft use of a dustpan and brush, avoided disaster and probable hospitalisation for the poor soul who would’ve fallen on the broken glass, the result of a drunken collision on the dance floor

Anyway a very good time was had by all. The DJ’s were wonderful and kept the party rockin with an 80’s selection which Parfitt and Rossi would’ve been proud of
