JANE TAYLOR plus 2 supports, Damian Etherington and Scotty. After Jane’s song called “Fall on Me”, was played on BBC Radio 2, she was invited to play a live session in Feb at the BBC on Johnnie Walkers’ Drive Time show. From this a support slot with Jools Holland came about. Ronnie Scotts review said “With an angelic voice and a twinkle in her eye she has us in the palm of her hand as she plays to stunned silence form an audience enthralled by her moving lyrics…. simply outstanding talent. HUMMINGBIRD plus support from Phil James. Hummingbird are Amy Wadge Cathy Burton and Edwina Hayes. 3 amazing talents in there own right have come together and are set to give “The Dixie Chicks” and the “Be Good Tanya’s” a run for their money. Thursday 26th April
Dan Arborise plus 2 supports Lowri Evans and Simon Falconer. No2 in Bob Harris’s (BBC Radio 2) all time favorite folk artists. Live, Dan’s tender and haunting voice is the perfect match for his evocative and rhythmic guitar-picking.
